Why 911 at all? My gut feeling when watching 911 was that it was just
an example of what goes around, comes around... we had it coming.
I didnt know much hard facts, just a gut feeling.
Years later, I happened upon an article in the New York Times, on page
twenty-something, not like it was big news... but the story was about
Ossama bin Laden recommending that all Americans should read the book
"Rogue State" by William Blum to learn what we have done in the world
since world war2. Thank you, Osamma, that was a good suggestion!
Osamma could have been, should have been captured alive, but then we
would have to give him his day in court, and he might want to say bad
things about the CIA who trained him... so he was killed in
self-defence, I suppose. What I heard was that he was just standing
there, probably in shock and awe, like a scene from Terry Gillham's
movie, "Brazil."
Blum wrote other books, "Killing Hope" and "Freeing The World To
Death."
As for why Iraq? money and domination, what else?
It wasnt to set them free, that's for sure. And of course we knew he
had weapons of mass destruction because we had sold them to him, and
didnt complain when he used them against Iran in the war we probably
instigated.
We just wanted to kick some butt after 911, and Afganistan wasnt juicy
enough. Same old same as it ever was...
now we are about to be great again... so watch out!
I love that film about Jamaica, poor Jamaica... THanks Guv!
