I used to be on a 4 week to a 1 month retention limit myself, so I
have some sympathy with 'the people that cant'.
I also find it a bit hard to understand how people can also manage the
funds for a PC and an internet connection... But can't manage another
stuff from 4 Years back.
OR... people that know that they can get what they ask for from
Torrent but.... want someone else to take the risk for them and post
it on Usenet
My ISP (VM) stopped giving me the 'teevee' group about a year ago (we
All remember That) realizing that it (teevee) was my Main Group for
downloads... I signed up with Tweaknews.
I soon realise after signing up with TN that I was getting Much more
than I expected.
I was/am getting more programmes than I would have with my 'old'
connection, 'Tweaknews' would pull in many more headers than my old
ISP would have done... therefore... I'm seeing a LOT more programmes
that I might want to download that I wouldn't have even seen with my
crappy old ISPserver.
Its well worth the cost to get a decent server.
