Here's what I do for finding posted documentaries:
check abdoc and ab.british.doc in usenet first
Then I LOOK in the torrents for what 'mvgroup' has posted:
https://rarbg.to/torrents.php?search=mvgroup&category%5B%5D=18&category%5B%5D=41
If I see something I want I copy and paste the name here to search:
http://allfilled.bot.nu/teevee/filled/
Don't use BBC in the search term though.
If I find it I copy and paste the 'REQID' # into here:
http://www.nzbindex.nl/search/?q=%5B%23a.b.teevee%40EFNet%5D+&age=&max=25&g%5B%5D=687&minage=&sort=agedesc&minsize=&maxsize=&dq=&poster=&nfo=&hidespam=0&more=1
or here
https://www.binsearch.info/?q=%5B%23a.b.teevee%40EFNet%5D+&max=100&adv_age=1100&server=2
Someone else may have a faster way but this works for me for usenet
