For me personally its the amount of data that could be lost in 1 drive
crash. Losing just 4GB from a bad DVD used to sting, but now I'm
prepared to risk 23GB with switching to Blu-Ray, I have archives
collected from years back and a large part of it isn't available
anymore or would be a nightmare to collect all over again, so risking
1/2 TB isn't really a safe enough option for me... unless I had a
back-up drive of my back-up drive... and so the cost doubles straight
away. (THAT might actually work for me) :)
