War & Peace In The Nuclear Age
A Public Broadcasting System documentary in 13 parts produced in 1988. This series chronicles the creation and use of atomic weapons from 1945 through 1988 and their effect of the geo-political landscape of the world.
The documentary is extensive and contains interviews with all of the major political players along with seldom seen film clips of political speeches from both sides of the iron curtain.
This series is ripped from VHS tape (recorded in 1988) and compressed to m4v format on an Apple iMac G4 using iMovie. The segments where then compressed to iPod resolution that can be played both on an iPod or AppleTV. These episode are also viewable in Apple's Quicktime Player
Each segment is approximately 55 minutes in length. Each m4v file is under 400 megabytes. The episode index is as follows
