My limited knowledge of PGP is that when I tried to install it on a desktop with WinXP OS, it made the computer useless for everything else, and it is really only useful for text messages, not binaries.  The computer returned to its normal useful self when I uninstalled PGP.

Further, it seems to be hard to find and download now, and I believe that it is no longer supported.
