Not really. Servers are so damned big they'd need to upload a helluva
lot more than they do to push legit uploads off the hard drives. With
some services keeping material as far back as late 2008 or early 2009,
it'll take a long time for uploads to get more recent stuff pushed
off.
It's just a bunch of scene junkies trying to hide their titles from
the lawyers haunting the NZB websites. Between the alphabet soup
titles and posting the subject matter in non-relevant newsgroups (plus
the additional security of passwords by some groups posting this
stuff) their posts stays pretty safe from takedown.
The scene group members have a way to descipher the titles as well as
knowing where to look for them. They're not intended for Usenet
visitors outside their select group membership, so I ignore them
outright and don't fuss with trying to figure out what might be
inside. Too much good stuff posted WITH titles by group posters who
DO want us to enjoy their stuff.
