As much as I hate to say it, X264 is one of my problems. It's sort of
my own fault. My computer is rather old (like me!) and I can't find
converters that work on my system. I'm looking to upgrade to a newer
computer/system to open my available choices but as yet haven't.
Don't go to extra effort for me. Most people can use these as are. If
I'd get going, I would be able to as well. If you have nothing else to
do, however...

I thought as much. I'm always busy Peggleg but I'll find time to convert em If
what I'm about to suggest doesn't work. Have you tried Avidemux 2.5 to recode
the files? It works with XP upward and it's pretty simple once you know how to
set the convertion off - that bit is counter intuitive. Also - it's free. I like
free :-)
