I'm back folks! Peggleg - my wife had to go to London for a few days so I went
with here. While she was tending to buisness I went here :-
http://www.rmg.co.uk/cutty-sark
and here :-
http://www.rmg.co.uk/national-maritime-museum
and here :-
http://www.rmg.co.uk/royal-observatory
From what I've seen of your posts you'd love it all.
I'll start recoding the rest of "barging" later when I've settled in a bit.
By the way - over here a barge is something you carry cargo in. A narrow boat is
covered and can generally be lived in. When you are talking canals they are
identical in width but both barges and narrow boats can vary immensely in
length. Mine was around 56 foot.
Spike - I lived in a narrowboat for a while - some of the happiest days of my
life. A wife and two small babies put payed to that idylic lifestyle :-(
Later folks,
RIB.
