While, strictly speaking, it is not really a documentary, it is educational, and shows a number of buildings and industries that were part of the Industrial Revolution.  For anyone who is interested in the British inland waterways, it is certainly of interest.

The network of canals that forms the British inland waterways is of historical significance as it provided much of the transport for both raw materials and finished products, from source to factory to market, before the road network and trucks became the primary form of transport.
