I've had the same problem (clicking drives) on both mine and my wife's computers
in the past Spike. turned out to be power cables in the end, specifically the
standard to sata adaptors. A quick spray with IPA followed by a generous dose of
WD40 on all plugs, sockets and data cables seems to have done the trick. No more
clicking drives and at least one drive salvaged from the faulty bin :-)
By the way, I can't get anywhere near top downloading speed using Tweeknews. How
are you fairing?
