I used to think the same as you Spike But I wouldn't even entertain Kaspersky. I
now use a combination of Avast Free and Malwarebytes The latter sped up my
computer considerably due to the amount of PUP's it found - all of which tend to
take up resources and slow things down. Avast has the lowest false positives of
any antivirus i've tried so far. I couldn't move for em with Norton.
You could download a lovely little programme called ADWCleaner and run that
every now and again. It won't catch quite as many PUP's as Malwarebytes but it
comes close. It's also pretty good with viruses too.
The problem with Sandboxie used on it's own is that it will happily run PUP's
but it won't tell you anything about them.
