After (randomly) switching some SATA cables around at the motherboard
end and then drive 'C:' coming back to life, I didn't bother trying to
waste any more 25GB Blu-Rays trying to write with the new Blu-Ray
drive.
I ordered a single re-writeable 25GB Blu-Ray disc... it worked fine !
Dilemma for Me was that the re-writeable allowed x1 and x2 writing
speeds (I selected x2), the TDK Blu-Ray discs that I bought would only
go as low as x4 speed (in Nero). Sooooo.... was my system being forced
to work harder than it had to ? And failing because it was working too
hard !
I then decided to attempt to burn a 6th Blu-Ray (non-re-writeable)...
it burned ok :)
So I burned another 3... all ok :)
It looks like I have problems with the Motherboard (SATA Connections)
and NOT the drives attached to it.
Thank you all for your Help. I Still have a problem, but at least I
know where I stand (I Think) :)
