I don't have any horror stories (YET!), but I do hope you find a way to
stop. I have trouble negotiating the stairs outside my place, and it
seems to get worse all the time. I'm a bit older than you and I hate to
think how "old" MY lungs are! I can't offer any help as I'm not even
sure what happened with me. I just stopped wanting to smoke. I haven't
quit, I still have a smoke every few days or so, but it's getting less
and less all the time.
As far as sticking my nose into others strings, I only do it if I have
something to add, or at least something positive. I just try to be
civil. Some people don't seem to know what that is. Even in here.
