It's nice to hear all of this. I was wondering how "safe" a 50GB
Blu-Ray actually was. They sound fairly trustworthy. I "file" all of my
DVD storage discs in slim cases then into a bookcase, away from
excessive heat and sunlight. And I too smoke, although lately, over the
last year and a half or so, it sort of went away. Not sure what
happened, but I'm glad it did. At any rate I haven't had many, if any,
failures as yet. For storage I've been using Taiyo Yuden for single and
Verbatim for duals. Those got the best ratings. Not sure about plain
Blu-Rays, but the M-Disc come from M-Disc. Don't know if they can be
bought cheaper.
Hope you don't mind my sticking my nose in. Thanks for the info, at any
rate.
Got windy again, eh?
Later...
