I have had this archived for years but have never reposted it here
mainly because its a docu-drama and maybe doesn't belong here.
Its HBO and is directed by Tom Hanks who takes accuracy seriously and
so I would guess that this is mostly based on fact.
I'm surprised that you have never seen it.
