Have you ever seen "Jaws"? If not, there's a part where the three of
them are sitting around, drinking, on Robert Shaw's ( aka Quint) boat,
comparing scars, and Shaw tells the story (sort of...) of the U.S.S.
Indianapolis, (Quint was supposed to have been on it...the character,
not Shaw.) and I've always wondered about it. Thanks for the "Sea
Tales" story. I like those. Maybe, again, it's the salt water in my
veins...........
