As for absailers -Listen I have spent the last 30 years in the music
industry (prominent). There are currently over 800 (I'm not telling the
exact amount) copies of my tracks, and 20 full copies of my albums, and
about 8 remixes (unlicensed) on newsgroups at this minute. Several years ago
we (my record company and producers) thought of going the Metallica /
Naspster route, but then a TV Network (Ranks in the top 5 - not telling
which) ran one of my pieces at the stroke of midnight at the dawn of the
millenium 2000/01/01 worldwide (First piece of music played this century -
Cool) -WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. The piece hadn't been released yet, but had
been given to them as a pre-release sampler-"Not to be played on air".
HMMMM. I was stunned (a bit Southern Comforted as well at the time) , we
hadn't even finished the final mixes yet. What chance do we stand, it would
be like trying to reach the horizon, we got an apology but a heck of a lot
of publicity.
(Snoopies - I value my privacy above all else -You'll get dizzy -don't
bother trying to do ID's, my pieces are done under group names and the
writers are stage names -a bit like an "Enigma" Michael Cretu led the way on
this. Amazon music critics tried and ran into a dead end - sadly no cigar)
So in terms of trading stuff - where does it all start and where does it all
end ? The world carries on.

Yup between short appearance trips to Europe and elsewhere I joined my wife
and am fruiting around in sewing newsgroups as well and enjoying every
minute.
My studio now has Marathon rolls all over the place and my muso's are all
wearing nicely embroidered kit.
