Some would see the quilt patterns as off-topic flooding in that
*they* have no interest in quilt patterns. I do, have an interest, so
for me these are fine. OMMV

There could be further discussion to be had on the whole of the
phenomena you point to but until those wanting to discuss have at
least read the tutorials posted it is likely wasted typing. The tutorials
touch on (and point to) how this group and many binary groups operate.

As long as they are clearly marked (as they are) then I cannot see a
problem with posting them here?

You may have difficulty getting an audience in those groups. There are
reasons why that is so, mostly to do with propagation.
Again, in particular for alt.binaries.craft.pictures, this is pointed to in tutorials.

You might upset residents there. Just because the post count is
low does not mean it is "vacant".
And might I add you commit a major faux par in just plonking your
posts into that group without asking first?
Pray the Plastics folks are "nice guys" :-/

Always a welcome gesture :)

You have my "off the cuff" contribution.
There is more, but as said, until the posters are "up to speed" on the
basics much could be written that has already been written one
towsand times before.
Where the ABCP tutorials require reposting please do indicate so.
