Depending on where you got them, they might be in a commercial format
that has no color palette, or at some point been converted from such a
format. You need color charts, if available. If they're not, the
next best thing is an image of what the final embroidery should look
lie - and then figure out which color stop is which.
The only way to restore the colors is to correct the colors while
editing the design, and save the design in a format that does maintain
a color palette (like most home embroidery formats - hus, pes, art,
vip, jef, etc.)
