First, just re-install winrar and see if the problem goes away. If it
doesn't, then ...
let's get a little more specific.
You double-click on a rar file and you get a window labeled winrar,
with the 'stacked book' icon, right?
What is inside that window? Details ... details ... details .. (A
screen-capture image would help, too)
