The best source for company logos is
http://www.brandsoftheworld.com
It has clear vector images (.eps or .ai) that can either be used as is
or converted to a sufficiently large un-pixelated bitmap, depending on
what digitizing software is used.
I use a brute-force 'conversion'. I open the image in Illustrator or
Corel Draw, magnify it, the use Snag-It to capture the image as a jpeg
for feeding into Artista or ClickNStitch.
