I've been using Brother's PE Design since 2001, and I have to say that PED Next is pretty much... disappointing. My sister has a Husqvarna and uses their VIP software, claiming that it's "better" than anything Brothe make's.
So, anyone who is still alive in here... what software would you recommend? I digitize from line art (usually so I can cheat by having the machine do my applique instead of doing it by hand) as well as alter/combine purchased patterns to fit whatever design I'm working on.
Any software you particularly like? Any annoying problems or 'quirks' with it? Benefits it has over others you've tried?
Thanks a ton to anyone who sees this!
