A much better way.
Install Windows 7 and after getting it running go to Microsoft's
website and download a free Win XP O/S that runs under Win 7. It
updates with any update that comes out for XP and runs all software
just fine. Both O/Ses will run simultaneously and they share resources
like printers and hardware and yet do not interfere with each other at
all. You will need to install a second copy of antivirus etc...
