The two years worth of stuff may have been accumulated and stored on
**YOUR** computer, not theirs.

I guess they changed it at some point in time, because I was able to
download two years of stuff not very long ago. I deleted it all once I
got what I needed from there. :-( And now I can't get it again. I only
pay for the $9.99 per month service, so I guess you're right - I can't
get the old stuff anymore and would have to pay extra for it.

This has nothing to do with Agent. All news services have a finite retention
period. You're using the (non-premium) Easynews news service; currently (as
of
five minutes ago) Easynews goes back as far as January 16, 2010 in this
newsgroup. You can pay Easynews an additional monthly fee to be able to go
back
further (I don't know how much, since a year is more than enough for me).

usually i can download all the headers in this group and get posts
going back through 2009. I can't seem to download those anymore. Can
someone tell me why that would be happening? I'm using Agent to
download & post.
