heh.. my "knee-jerk" response to that reactive also kind of
answers your next confudgemint.
Some just refuse to RTFM<g>
And, btw... Yanks read "confused" and see "angry".
They doan use the word the same way we do.
Well,, not outside of Sydney/Melbourne anyways.. heh heh
.. short version answer?
An ABCP FAQ was written, replacing the dated Bucky FAQ of
the '90s. Consensus was sought and reached.
No objections were raised.
If there is not more than enough information in those
documents to get a newbie at least partially moving
into ABCP then it is very likely that person is not
suited to Usenet.
Also, there has been evidence folks _are_ using
the information and "having a go".
>I am also confused as to why they are so disinterested in their own
>learning.
>
The ones that do not ask?
Yes, beats me too.
But ours is not to reason why.. it is Usenet.
Folks can do as they please, for it is known
a group only runs when it has sorted itself out.
My "help" is making one person
(loose use - as IT is quite insane) very angry and
another a tad miffed. No skin off my nose to
"pull me head in" and allow the group to stumble
along for a bit.
In those recent "henny pennys" around the CnS
post by Rosie (or not Rosie, depending on what
you see) you get solid indication ABCP is
indeed stumbling.

So I reckon it is how you wear them when you
got 'em that counts.
Kate wears hers nice but SiS positively is
gob-stopper.
And the butt!
You hear about this??

mmm.. yes, and today's announcement of
"Hey, raise the gawd-damn ceiling willya"
isn't amusing at all. Especially given there is more
than one nutcase in "da repugs" side of Congress:-/

Did you hear Elton John is doing keyboard organ
at the memorial service??
A 10 minute rendition of "Sandals in the Bin"..!

Did I tell ya DOTN took a few South with him last trip?
Had his "boots" by the front door, and, as you do when
flying around packing ten minutes before the cab comes,
threw his boots into his service bag and off he went.
Two days later when he grabbed them from the bag - to
dress for a days field work - a toad (baby - 80mm) jumps
out of boot One. A quick trip to the balcony.. and Toad One
is on his/her way. Grabbing boot Two, out jumps Dad
(120mm)..!
Whoops..!!.. expect Lake Burly Griffin to be alive with the
sound of music come the spring rains!!
They have already 'anointed his bag, couldn't have
been too cold<bg>
.. back to me sewing desk<g>
