Trouble is most of the modern day viruses disable all your scanners, access
to websites involved in virus detection, and help sites to discover WTF
happened.
I have done it too (turned them off the run a keygen) but it is getting so
risky these days with the high level viruses you are chancing it big time.
We'll talk in a few months. Keep your scanners working but if there was
something in the keygen, it is already installed and the scanners would be
useless against it now.
Don't trust any d/l software here. Patterns OK, but there is a really nasty
element here. You have no idea how dirty and immoral.
Best of luck. Watch for IP traffic that isn't something you are doing.

So I turned off McAffee and unzipped the files again, installed the
software and used the keygen. So far no problems, software is working,
no boogers appear to be eating away at my hard drive. Yay!
