Sorry it took so long to say thank you, but I was stuck in the
hospital.

I tried to create the patch for my son but when I got to the 3rd layer
(Black shadow on the state), the thread kept breaking.  I tried 4
different threads and many different needles, and I have no luck, the
thread keeps breaking.  Does anyone know why this is happening?  I
just can't get past the outline of the state.  I really want it there
the patch is so beautiful.   I am a novice at this, but I promised my
son I would do this before my next surgery and the 12th of April is
fast approaching.  Please help if you can.  God Bless, Kate
