3D file assistant is part of that package, according to
the supplier.

If you are using a 'cracked' version
of 3D on XP then it is quite likely that part
of the install wasn't 'cracked' as "file assistant"
is another version of Windows Explorer.
What file assistant does, Windows Explorer
should do for a 3D software install.

All of those 'upgrading' share your
problem. One such piece of evidence

Nieve, you being a consistent poster I include
the following for you to consider.
I can only say again...
Your plight is just the beginning... for many.

##_For the 'newbies' (if any) the adoption of
##_Windows 7 and then Windows 8 is going to an
##_insurmountable hurdle for both the technically
##_challenged and the husband/wife dependant
##_among us at ABCP.. I can only suggest
##_those that have machines on Windows 98se
##_and XP make provision to maintain
##_that status quo. The future does not bode well
##_with anything else.
If anyone using embroidery machine software
is waiting for "upgrades" to be 'cracked' and posted
anywhere.. then those ladies will be waiting a very
long time, to get nothing.
No "reverse engineer" is going to run the race with
Windows 7 (or Windows 8) for all the variations in
market software for each Brand name as they
"upgrade".
That situation has not changed since Windows XP
began the "upgrade" race... four years ago.
The embroidery industry is "well heeled", or so it
seems. Seems like sewing folk see "upgrade"
as being held to be "better" somehow?
That view may eventually change to reflect the
Truth.
I can only recommend to anyone here (ABCP)
looking at a future - long term - go get a computer
with Windows 98SE or Windows XPHome and use it
for nothing else but embroidery work - I include ABCP
in that tasking.
cheers
