I tried this but I had some problems. The instructions are not very good.
The snowflake came out very floppy with just the mylar. I used 2 pieces of
mylar so that it looked the same front and back. It definitely needs some
heavier stabilizer behind it, maybe sandwiched in between. Unfortunately,
it doesn't come with a separate die line pattern to cut it out first, so I
think trying to cut stabilizer in the hoop as you would cut reg fabric for
applique will be difficult. I haven't tried this yet though so I can't say
for sure. But I know that when I finished these with just the method
described in the directions, the snowflakes curled. They were not
something that would work for an ornament on the tree with the results I
got the first try. Good Luck, and if you find a method that works will you
please let me know so I can try them again? Thanks.
