I did a test stitch out. It didn't do very well. I think I may have asked
a bit too much going that much smaller than the original. It seemed to be
too thick in some places and then the thread would break. I thank you for
trying to help me. I loved the design so much and wanted to do a stocking
with the large snowflake in the center and have smaller ones all around. I
was using a faux suede material with a medium weight stabilizer behind, so
maybe that was a problem also. I'm going to give it a try on other types
of material too. I'll let you know how it stitches on those later when I
get a chance to get back to it. And as far as the fsl goes, I'll leave
that one alone. I thought you would say it couldn't be done, but I just
asked to be sure.
Again, thanks so much. I appreciate the time you spent, and hopefully I
can figure out a fabric/stabilizer combination that will work.
