That Maddox bitmap... it saved as almost 13meg.
And it posted as a Null file. I didn't pull it the first time you
posted it so am not sure if it did the same thing then.
Out of interest, I rar'ed it to see how much smaller it could have
been posted.
It rar'ed down to 578kbs. Even doing my roughest math equation,
rounding everything up... that's roughly 21 times smaller than what
you posted!
Even zipped it was 579kbs. If you can unzip/rar the files in here,
surely you have learnt to rar/zip yourself??
Anyone paying for usage (and who isn't?!!) and wants to help you out,
just paid to pull a 13meg file that displays as Null... :-)
Yes, yes... I fixed it and I can see it... but that's not the point!
You aren't the only one having posting size issues at the moment, this
is not a heat seeking missile aimed only at you. :-)
I'm just trying to find out what you don't know, so that you can help
yourself.
As for the design...
You seemed quite enamoured with hopper's effort. Not sure what you are
looking at when you say you want two colours now.
Hopper's effort can be sewn in two colours.
I'm wondering if hopper thought you wanted the lighter shading around
the M and made it possible to sew that if you wanted. If you didn't
want the lighter shading, just sew the design in navy and orange.
Hopper used to offer stuff and seek feedback. He was never looking for
gratuitous thanks. By getting feedback, positive or negative, He was
hoping to learn more about digitising.
Telling someone they have done an amazing job, when they haven't done
what you wanted, helps no one.
Is there something else wrong with it? Cos it can be two colours if
you only use two colours.
Hopper was a lot of things. But a mind reader He wasn't.
That's a Man thing. They ain't very good at it.
Did you sew it at all as a test?? How was it otherwise??
You didn't say what kind of fabric it was going on.
When people try to help out with digitising, and Herb is the same,
they need information to help them help you.
If they do a crappy job of it, or it's not what you imagined, TELL
THEM!!
The digitisers in here don't test sew it for you. And they aren't
really sure how something will look when sewn.
Feedback is essential to moving forward with digitising in this group.
If you don't tell them what they misinterpreted, got wrong, totally
screwed, then you will never get the result you want.
It's not being rude. It's being constructive.
Herb can take a hint, hopper could too... ok... it took a couple of
goes with hopper... /giggle... Not that it matters now with hopper,
/poof gone...
Holita likes feedback.
Yes, they like to be thanked, and it should be so. They would like to
be thanked knowing it was genuine.
They offer their digitising in the spirit of learning. Help them learn
by telling them what can be better.
Pixie :-))
