Since this group [ABCP] seems to be the hub for embroiderers. I had
an idea. What I am proposing is a sharing club. If anyone is
interested in buying sets from different designers, such as Sonia
Showalter, Criswell, Smart Needle, etc. or perhaps getting memberships
for sites like Country Needle, Sick, Cute, etc. We can get more bang
for our buck. This takes a lot of trust on everyone's behalf. I for
one know I have close to all of the Anita Goodesigns, and Ace Points
prior to 2010 just to name a few. What I am hoping to accompish for
all of us embroiderers is more of the newer sets, and of course the
pricier sets. If you have been downloading from ABCP and torrent
sitres for the past couple of years we all have the "for newbies"
files that have been posted to death. For the posters of these files,
enough already!
I do appreciate the long hours and hard work that digitizers put into
their craft, but for new digitizers this is true. For the Anita's and
John Deere's of the embroidery world this is far from true. They can
digitize in their sleep. I love quality embroidery designs and
unfortunately can not afford to purchase all that I see, perhaps some
of you are like me. I can afford to purchase a set a month and if not
to pricey bi-weekly. I will never be able to "catch up" with all of
the designs/sets out there in my lifetime. So if any of you that have
read this post are interested let's get started a.s.a.p.
We can collectively sort out the specs of how to accomplish this.
