All the embroidery programs are having this problem. One way to avoid
it is to disconnect from the Internet before using. Embird is being
especially vigilant about their program shutting down all multiple
copies not properly registered. Not sure how they are doing it but
the person listed as the registered owner was informed that her Embird
was being used on over 7000 computers that day. Talk about freaked
out.......maybe one of the more computer savvy people can tell us how
they are doing it. Embird prior to 2006 does not do this and neither
does the older Wilcom. Newer Brother,Janome, Bernina, Pfaff and a few
more are also becoming unusable.
