And again... not quite there!

This could have possibly had the rar/zip split too. I can't tell
(size) because I am not going to download nearly 8000 parts, when it's
incomplete on all servers, just to get a hint if the rar/zip is split!
7815 x 24.3kbs... = 189904.5kbs
Seriously??? WHAT is in there?? Leadarse Smurf??
/faint...
No wonder it had no hope of arriving the first time.
It still fell over the second time.

Typed THREE zeros in the box.../grin
By only typing three zeros, this has been posted in roughly 24.3kb
parts... oops!
And, interestingly, part 7815 is missing on all my servers.
Part 877 has attached itself to Lucy's Dakota post (those that aren't
using auto join will see all these anomalies). Tis why I don't auto
join. I want to see that all parts are there before I waste my time
downloading something that will never arrive.
Sorting by subject line puts that part back in order.
This post is a good example of what NOT to do! Something to learn from
for us all :-)
If, IF this post flew, at the amount of parts contained, that is STILL
an over the top amount of parts to have to join. Either manually or
using the auto join feature.
Posting is covered in DEPTH in the T00ls posted by Hopper on a regular
basis. Why rar is better for your online security, how to split a rar
if you need to, how to split the post using Agent.
The pdf in it is very helpful towards understanding "why" and "how" a
successful post makes it to a group.
If you don't understand something in the pdf, ASK!!

Read the T00ls... ask questions. We are all here to help each other.
Next time Herb, we might ask what size file they are trying to load
first!!
Maybe we underestimate just what they think is "small" now that
everyone has a terabyte hdd as standard...
