What is expected is a little more (at the moment) than anyone in this
groupe can deliver.
Requestors are a little naive.
Deliverers are under a lot of pressure (time mainly).

True...
A little less "oh gee thanks" and then quietly tossing the result in
the bin and a little more constructive feedback to those who are just
digitising and not sewing the effort themselves would be good.

You think they were shocked at my candid response??
Eh... this was not entirely Herb's "mess".
He needs feedback. Up until now it has been decidedly lacking.
Good or "constructive".
I'm not looking to break His spirit. I am looking to point Him in the
right direction.
He obviously enjoys doing it. He will enjoy it so much more when He
understands a few more basics than "thanks Herb!".

Herb asked. So I took up His invitation.

Not lookin' fer points. I can't be here all the time.
And I can't be sticking my nose in where it isn't welcome.
In this case, and that fsl bowl thing, a lot of thread is going to be
wasted before a good stitchout is achieved.
And those reading this take note. I don't know all the buttons on all
the programs.
All I can do is guide you in the result you are looking for.
Understanding _your_ program of choice is _your_ responsibility.
The basic rule of digitising is once you understand the rules of
"construction" then the rest is just a matter of finding the
button/setting that will deliver the result.
They all come with a Help file to help you when looking for the button
that returns x,y,z!

Exactly. I doan have Organiser running on this box so couldun do a
metre check on exactly how much is used in the design, but add another
2/3's for the bobbinfil and you are lookin' at a LOT of thread.
I sewed 3 x 15K stitchouts (top speed) on the weekend and it took the
better part of 2 hours. That's still 21K stitches short of this one!

Interestingly, it is faster at this console than any of the paid ones
I have. It clocks double the speed, things arrive at the speed of
light in comparison to the other premium servers. Posting I haven't
tried in a couple of years from it. That was a pointless exercise. It
wouldun show up for days.
I'm not championing it as a choice server, but a hack backup for those
who know how to "jag it"... it's not so bad for short runs!
/ducks...
No, I wouldun post from it.

Jaggin' it is not allowed in polite circles.
It's frowned upon.
I have always stuck with the program. Never deviated.

The confusing bit is the first/second object bit. Underlay should
precede and be connected to the same "object"....

Auto mode... /pttttui....
That is not digitising.... sowwy for the bad news today!
Learn construction first. Learn "why" you do a particular action.
Learn why you NEED to!
Then you can go play with the loser automode crap!

Buuuuuuuut, when you want a man to do something fer ya, you've got to
tell Him what you want - and be SPECIFIC!!
Men ain't good at guessing...
