It is unfortunate more detailed help is not wise to publish
here -- in the way of gathering tools.
As to a process..?
The day I figure a generic method out I will publish it.
After more than four years though I am still being surprised
(on every sort) at the variables produced by some of those
uploading.
For the moment then it is prudent to just say "thanks", sit
down, and sort the best way one can develop for oneself.
Yes, it is tedious... but nothing is "free".
If it helps you I can say quite convincingly
there has been many an email written between folks having
the same problems with sorting as yourself.
And it is always that one design one so desperately wanted
(to save) that inadvertently gets deleted.
Always keep a master copy <g>
