You could be right. I said that without trying it since with MPD a drag
or double click operation is normally used for opening a par archive
or adding to one that is being created. It all depends on the way in which
MPD handles the filetypes of File Refs extracted from incoming
AppleEvents. As a developer I know that special handling of specific
types as would be necessary to accomplish "drag .rar file and get an
unrar operation" would make for complications when trying to drag
in order to add to an archive being created. Logic and good programming
style dictates that such special conditions would not be followed but
does not preclude the possibility. I will try it and see. This does not
change the overall process needed by the OP though.
