I have this prog installed and It has not given me any cause for
suspicion, I use Clam anti virus l which is a sourceforge free
antivirus and it does not flag anything as a threat, and Zone alarm
professional which has not detected any unusual activity, but I have
not given it any web access in the firewall.
All I did was install the main prog and then locate the folder windows
installed it to and overwrite the exe files with the replacement one
provided, then run the patch
I can only say it has not given me any problems but at the end of the
day it's sold as seen
