RIB, I can't thank you enough for posting this remastered series. Another
excellent job RIB!
I had skipped ahead to a couple of the extras before viewing many of the regular
episodes. When I started watching "The Final Solution" parts 1 & 2, I was struck
by the tears that came unbidden to my eyes at the very start of part 1, during
the opening scene of the entrance to one of the extermination camps where it
zooms in on the empty RR tracks leading into the camp. It wasn't the scene, but
what it represented, what I knew was going to come based on my previous learning
of the horrors that the Jewish people had done to them. Also, It angers me to no
end that there are so many ignorant people in the world that insist that these
horrors never happened! These fools continue to deny the facts in spite of the
mountain of proof from film shot by the Germans themselves, to admissions by
many of those same German guards and others working in the camps.
Anyway, I once again want to thank you RIB for making this remastered version
available. It should be required viewing.
