Your point about thanks is a good one. I appreciate the effort that anyone
makes in posting in any ng - so I always ask politely and I am sure to thank
them after the post is up. But I have posted this request several times
over the past few months and not seen any response. I have seen other
requests filled, so I was not sure if I have not been doing this correctly,
for this ng.

Probably but when someone fills your request to thank them for the effort?
After filling many requests for several years I quit when most of the
requesters never even
bothered to say thanks and I don't consider a TIA in the initial request a
thanks.
Ths also has a lot to do with why I quit posting.
