Officer Suspended, Faces Charges Of Helping Dealer

DENVER (News 4) A Denver police officer has been indicted on state and federal
charges accusing him of assisting a drug dealer, News 4 reports.
Officer Damon Finley, 31, is accused of conspiring with his father to tamper
with evidence in a drug case, in exchange for money.
Finley has been a police officer for three years. He was suspended without
pay Thursday.
If convicted, Finley could face up to 5 years in jail, and a $250,000 fine.
Finley's father is also expected to face charges in the case.
