Joao,
I have the same situation as you have, though I am not French.
My job is computer related also.
If we can communicate with other people often, we can improve our speaking
skill.
Over the years, I though it was not important that I deal with other people,
I focuse on computer technic.
I view diffrently now.
What do you think?
