I just reread "In the Spotlight - Winona Ryder" an article from
Seventeen magazine from October, 1988. ----- It seems to have answered
the question that I have asked for years. :) Why did "Squaredance" only
gross around $250,000 at the box office ??? --------- From the article
---- Ryder's talent hasn't been hidden under a bushel. Since she debuted
in "Lucas" two years ago, both moviegoers and insiders have spotted her
in such films as Squaredance (showing on TV under the title "Home is
Where the Heart is") and this year's "Beetlejuice" (with "1969" and
"Heathers" soon to come) ----------- The answer has to be that the movie
was actually a made for TV movie with the title "Home is Where the Heart
is", with a very limited theatrical release under the name "Squaredance"
around the same time. :) Unless they are talking about the movie being
shown on HBO or another premium channel the year after the movie was
released. But I've never heard of a movie's title being changed when it
