We may find out soon. Last time I remember someone posting his
naturist photos, he popped out of the woodwork with the customary
display of Gallic indignation.
Thanks for contributing these, BTW! There's a companion of sorts to
lcflev0112 -- I guess it would be either ~0111 or ~0113, with another
(clothed) kid talking to this one. Do you happen to have that?
While I'm at it, let me fire a preemptive shot in LeClercq's general
direction. Yeah, he did take these pictures. And he posted most of
them openly on a web site that featured an amazing number and variety
of pop-up, pop-under, pop-out-of-nowhere-and-shout-at-you,
follow-you-home-muttering-darkly-in-French, and every other sort of
advertisement he could commandeer. He then took the whole collection
over to BHP in a further effort to cash in.
That's all fair game. But I think it diminishes his right to whine
when anybody reposts his work anywhere. Does any other photographer
behave like this?
But here's where LeClercq jumped the shark, in my opinion. Even AFTER
he took all the pictures off the original web site, he left the site up
for a long time -- with all the advertising -- and he kept showing up
in the newsgroups to pick fights with posters, always taking care to
provide a link back to the site. In lieu of photos, the "content" of
the site now consisted mainly of private e-mail sent to him by various
people -- none of it posted with permission -- along with his
semi-coherent and self-righteous replies. His outraged posturing
became just another part of the show. Click here for a chance to win!
Bare-breasted beauties get it on just for you!
In summa: It's possible to find some merit in this guy's claim to have
had his work "stolen" -- notwithstanding that he posted it for all the
world to see, and steal. But it is not possible to like the guy.
