It takes a long time ... period!
I recall downloading pictures from BHP many years ago [I wonder
whatever on earth happened to that site, anyway?]. I was using dial
up and, as anyone familiar with BHP knows, when the site was slow it
took an excruciating amount of time to get an entire collection. The
KCB series comes to mind. I literally spent hours prying images out
of them in the same way one might pry a nail out of an oak board!
Another reason why I limited my downloads to the more "ahem ... shall
we say ... au naturale" shots.
