How smart is it to conform to rules no one has voted on or otherwise
agreed to, 4s00th? Most of these 'rules' originated from the mouthings
of one illiterate or another many hundreds of years ago: why should
anyone think their "wisdom" is superior to anyone else's? Further, your
primitive societies, VV, were characterized by marital fidelity and no
crime!
A further comment on this digression: frequently I hear on the TV news
(Sky, EuroNews, BBC, etc), items about the shocking amount of bullying
in UK schools, something that appears to be endemic there, but not
necessarily elsewhere. That is the essence of different cultures. But,
unlike choosing the fable one wants to adhere to, one must up-sticks and
move to a better place when a culture/society becomes unacceptable.
