Yes. This game occurs circumglobally. It is found in native
America, north and south, Asia, Oceania and Africa, not to mention
among traditional European and Scandanavian cultures. We refer to it
as "cat's cradle" and it is obviously one of the oldest pasttimes
known to humanity.
