I agree with everything you said.
Its stupidly bad tactics to deliberately inflame your enemies more than
you absolutely have to. "Tedn'Alice" did that a whole lot and did much
more to damage the BL society that I don't want to say in public. I
don't want to give enemies ideas if they don't have them. I told him I
didn't like his and Forsooths troll-baiting and why.
It's bad strategy and dangerous to underestimate your enemy. usenetters
can do a lot to cause problems even legal ones for posters. Trolls have
done this and more I don't want to say in public. Its stupid
self-destructive to beg them to do more.
Personal stuff next.
I have enough of a problem reconciling the "immorality" of being a BL
with my religion. I don't want to compound that by acting like a troll
myself. If we can't be better than them in our sexuality which we can't
help at least we can be better human beings than they are and not piss
them off just for the perverse pleasure of it. They have to do it for
psychological reasons but *we* don't have to and so we shouldn't.
