For your un-bemusement...
The impersonator posted as me in another group, to abc. abc then
accused Gollum of doing it. Here is my reply to that post, which
contains the other posts in the thread:

How many times are you going to retract that week apology?
The one time you actually did something socially right, must still pain
you. Do you even know why?
Psst:
Do you remember a BL poster named "birdie" (also sometimes "mike", but
there were more than one of those)? He used to do a lot of
impersonations. I caught him at it in my discussion group after he
posted as Ninja in the Fort, but didn't completely change his header
back for posting as "himself". He admitted it after I confronted him.
He was quite a disturbed individual. He STILL is.
abc, you are wrong on two levels. Technical and social.
Gollum posts only through Easynews. The impersonator doesn't, and can't
completely coverup that he isn't. Ask Q about header comparison.
Gollum has never actually impersonated anyone to deceive, despite your
accusations. And he would absolutely NEVER even THINK of impersonating
ME! How could you even suspect he would? Where is your social
awareness? Have you no understanding of people at all?
Gollum isn't a G-Man, and neither is the actual impersonator. But then,
YOU have acted more like one than any other Fort poster I know. How
many have you reported to their NSPs, or threatened to? Do you need to
accuse people, to try to throw the suspicion off of yourself?
As I've said many times before, be careful the tactics you use, lest
they be turned against you to greater affect. The attacker is most
vulnerable when he is attacking. That's why I don't.
Do you remember the group in which I debated "loyalty"? There, Gollum
asked Meph to address this issue with you, but Meph seems to be
somewhat confused about it. Please go there and put the issue to rest.
This time you owe Gollum a BIG apology. Would it be too much to expect
such a thing?
Who knows, but when Gollum is finished with his current VERY busy
situation in a few years, he may actually become a G-Man. He sure would
be a good one. And of course, this society could use another BL on the
inside (of LEA), right? :-)
